A disobedient child may go against your wishes and use defiance to control a situation. Defiance is a common issue that the parents of many children and adolescents experience. However, dealing with a child’s emotions during their growing years is not easy.
Children don’t always disobey for fun. Identifying the underlying reasons can provide effective solutions. In this workshop, we will be discussing how to manage disobedience in children.

Julie works closely with the international triple p organization as a coordinator of Triple P Positive Parenting in 2 regions of Ontario, Hastings/Prince Edward Counties and York Region. Her background is in Child Development, Early Childhood Education and Resource Consulting with families of special needs allow her to draw on many experiences and examples of effective child/youth/parent interaction.
