Admission / Registration

At Inventiveminds Kidz In-Home care, we provide a harmonious environment where all children are safe, healthy and happy. We are here to fulfill your need for the very best child care. Our in-home service provides child care for infants and toddlers. Often, child care centres only offer services starting at 18months. We know this is impractical, given many parents need to return to work much sooner. Rest easy knowing your babies and children are being nurtured and cared for by a qualified and loving caregiver in a safe environment.

As a first step, interested families are encouraged to contact us or complete a request for a tour. We will be in touch within 24 business hours. You'll be matched with a family coordinator to walk you through the entire process. We'll provide you with a list of in-home care providers in your requested area. Before making your decision, your coordinator will arrange home visits and interviews with the provider. We adopt this enrollment process to ensure the provider meets the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of your child. Our quality assurance process ensures caregivers continuously meet guidelines and maintain the highest safety and quality standards.

Family Coordinators

Every family in our care is assigned a family coordinator upon joining. Before starting with the program, families meet with our parent practitioner, social workers and child and family therapist to discuss their child’s transition into care.

The coordinator’s responsibility is to help parents and their children become comfortable with the caregivers, teachers and support team to create a safe, smooth and comfortable transition. Should additional support be needed, such as consideration or planning for special needs or exceptional learning support, the coordinator wil language our professionals and management staff to create a plan to meet their unique needs.

Throughout your time in our care, the coordinator will be in regular contact with family to ensure we will tackle each development milestone together.

Quality Assurance and Compliance Advisors

At Inventive Minds, we take children's physical health very seriously. Every child is unique, and some have specific health needs or concerns such as food or environmental allergies, immune issues or other medical needs or concerns. Our quality assurance and compliance advisors work closely with families before starting the children in the home care environment to ensure every consideration is met. Our advisors visit and inspect in-home provider's homes unannounced and often to complete quality and safety checks.

In-Home Care Providers

All in-home providers are trained extensively on Positive Early Childhood Education using the Positive Parenting Program™ guidelines. They are trained to understand and interpret the CCEYA Act and are certified in First Aid, CPR, and Food Handling. Every person in the provider’s household must complete a successful vulnerable screening police check, which must be updated yearly. We also continue training in our unique educational program and provide guidance and support during implementation.
